SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Meta says it is rolling out four new generations of in-house AI chips to power ranking and recommendation systems and future generative AI inference across its apps, a plan confirmed by at least four sources: Meta Newsroom, Reuters, CNBC, WIRED, The Verge, and TimesLive.
